Our 2025 Non-Profit Cherry Fest Beneficiary Partner: Task Force 20
They will host and present the Military Night this year at Cherry Fest!
Thursday, June 12th from 6:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.
Task Force 20 was founded in 2016 by Army Veteran and 1998 graduate of Anthony Wayne High School Jason Graven. Jason enlisted in the Army two weeks after 9/11 as Military Police and was part of the initial invasion force in Iraq in March 2003.
Also involved with the organization are Dave and Lauren Gedman. Dave served 12 years in the active-duty Army with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Dave enlisted in the Army immediately after graduating from Anthony Wayne High School in 1999 and later married 2002 Anthony Wayne High School graduate Lauren Christian.
To-date, Task Force 20 has assisted roughly 150 veterans with paid-in-full one-year gym memberships, personal training, and camaraderie building events.
The organization hosts a free lunch for Vietnam era Veterans at the Whitehouse American Legion and the Operation: Stronger Together 5k and Gaven A. Smith Veteran Resource Fair also in Whitehouse.”

About our presenting sponsor: Starting a new chapter for the Maumee Valley area by honoring the rich history of distilling while educating people in the art of crafting spirits. Along with producing, finishing, and blending spirits; our distillery will offer unique experiences, where guests will be able to get hands on with our distilling team and participate in the process. Now open in Downtown Whitehouse inside the old PNC Bank Building.
A favorite nostalgia of the Cherry Fest is returning, the Classic Car Show is back. More details and registration information will be available soon.

Saturday, June 14th the Whitehouse Historical Society will open its log home from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Located at the corner of Providence, Shepler and Texas streets, the 1840s log home is stocked with memorabilia and furnishings from the past.
